What's something you should throw away, but can't?
Metaphorically, the ground beneath my feet.
9-3-09 Oops! Changed my mind:)
What haven't you said that you wanted to today?
I think you're asking the wrong person:) But thanks!
If you could ask your boss or teacher ONE question without any repercussions, what would it be?
How do you know when your employees are telling the truth about what they think?
What do you miss most about the internet of ten years ago?
LOL! Not much. But as an intro for me to the net in 1994, AOL was nice
before they began censoring everything in creation.
What never fails to make you laugh?

When Sven imitates something I've said as though it were Butters from South Park.
Plus, other impressions of a few people we know(but not mean-spirited;
it's done with love, I think:)!
Are you doing anything special to celebrate Easter?
Well it is the funnest coincidence. My husband said Sharon Salzberg was visiting
a nearby Zen Center. I had Googled the area before + didn't think there were any
Zen centers. So I Googled again, and I found an area guide to all the Buddhist sects'
centers, including three or four Zen and I'm going today, 4-6 PM, to check out
a Zazen place. They meet every day, 4-6, or 5-7 PM. How could anyone not
make that at some time? Mes amis, there is no excuse not to.
Now Sven is an agnostic and, with him, the celebration is scrambled eggs and salmon
for breakfast as opposed to yoghurt and Optimum Zen cereal.
Our artist friend is even more agnostic. We asked him over a Mexican dinner if he was an agnostic
and he said, "I'm not sure." LOL! He claimed not to be partaking of Easter, but who knows?
--Can anyone really ignore the Vernal Equinox? It's terribly difficult.--
My parents are with their grand-kids seeing Lion King in NYC and their parents will go to St. Patrick's
and later on out at night, i.e., the P's will be baby-sitting all day and get tired but will LOVE it.
I might get my P's to come up later in the Spring to see my a capella concert which involves a lot of Catholic
music and would be perfect for Easter(if it were on Easter but it's not. That's OK. I could use more time.

How do you define greatness?
Sponsored by Nature Made.Just off the cuff here, I think it's an often elusive balance of humility with a healthy dose of self-confidence.
On this day in 1888, Vincent van Gogh cut off his left ear. In keeping with that spirit, what's the craziest thing you've ever done?
Hint: It wasn't:
1) Over-spending
2) Promiscuity
3) Substance Abuse.
Miracle of Love is about Ram Dass's experiences with a guru in India,
Neem Karoli Baba, who told him, "Love Everyone and Tell the Truth."
Ram Dass said, "But how can I tell the truth if I don't love everyone?" It was like a Zen koan.
What are you most looking forward to this week? What are you least looking forward to?
*Well, today I'm seeing my niece and nephew and giving them their holiday gifts.
I guess I'm concerned about practicing for a Thursday AM recital while traveling Tuesday
and Wednesday. But I'll have access to piano, so I guess it's OK.
Bringing the right music to the right places is key.
More looking forward, for Friday the 19th:
* Cut-and-paste for iPhone is being released this Friday(but not by Apple).
* Having the wife of a recently passed Buddhist mentor come over for music and tea.
How has the way you play video games changed over the past few years?
Sponsored by World Golf Tour.
I really recommend the Nintendo DS Lite for BrainAge2. I play math, piano(guitar hero for piano), and anagrams. No conflict of interest, I think.
The difference is it's small and portable, although my friend and I play mostly at home. Not that I ever played many games on the desktop.
I'd sampled Rock Star and Tomb Raider but never with the joystick(without which it was prohibitively cumbersome). Rock Star was actually
about snowmobiling through the caves of Afghanistan in winter, on some kind of cia assignment.
